Mary Green, DVM

Dr. Mary Green grew up in a small town in southern Illinois with her parents and brother. She moved to Missouri to complete her undergraduate studies at Truman State University and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Missouri in 2010. She practiced at a mixed animal clinic in North Dakota before heading out East to work for the USDA, but made her return to the Dakotas in 2016, falling in love with the Yankton area. A member of both the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the SD Veterinary Medical Association (SDVMA), she took a position at a small animal veterinary clinic and truly enjoyed providing veterinary care to clients and their pets in Yankton and the surrounding areas. During the past year, Dr. Green worked at a busy emergency veterinary hospital in Oklahoma City while obtaining her certification in animal chiropractic and acupuncture. Dr. Green is very excited to be bringing these services back to Yankton.

When Dr. Mary is away from the clinic, her 9 cats, 4 dogs, and turtle keep her on her toes!
